Oil and Gas Solutions
Constructability is a key consideration of the design process, and no envelope design can be considered as complete unless it has been developed alongside a clear strategy for manufacture, installation, testing and maintenance. We ensure our designs are robust, can be efficiently and safely procured and that they are built to specification.
Pipe fabrication and installation
Galaxy Rock provides heavy mechanical pipe-fabrication and installation services to the power, petrochemical, nuclear, oil and gas, infrastructure, defence and pharmaceutical sectors.
We have the capability to manufacture and install large and complex, low and high-pressure fabricated piping systems using both standard and exotic materials. We can support projects with pipework requirements of up to 50,000 metres.
This capability supports our on-site mechanical delivery teams and offers significant benefits to our customers’ overall project delivery. Utilising off-site fabrication enhances health and safety performance, productivity, programme certainty and commercial delivery.
To ensure the highest standards of quality, our Ffenics system tracks the production and installation of every pipe providing robust quality control and we are accredited to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001 standards.

Cathodic protection / corrosion prevention
Galaxy Rock has installed CP systems on Oil and gas facilities, highway infrastructure, commercial and retail buildings, multi storey car parks and marine structures. In addition, we can offer our customers a complete Cathodic Protection design and installation service.
- Sacrificial anode systems
- Hybrid anode systems
- Impressed current cathodic protection systems

CAD -Piping-Structures
Galaxy Rock provides comprehensive range of pipe, pipe fittings, flanges and valves design. These include welded, flanged, threaded, screwed, ductile iron & cast iron, grooved, stainless, PVC and complete piping systems.
Fluid Structure Interaction
Galaxy Rock Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) solution allow the mutual interaction between a flowing fluid and adjacent bodies to be calculated. This is necessary since all real structures are flexible, especially those that are large or subject to high fluid loads.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
Galaxy Rock offers Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solutions, sometimes referred to as flow simulation, is a computer simulation technique that allows the fluid flow around or through any product to be analysed in great detail. CFD allows the fluid mass flow, velocity, density, temperature, pressure, concentration or any derived fluid property to be calculated at all locations within the flow field. The interaction of the fluid with its solid boundaries, such as fluid-dynamic forces and heat transfer rates can also be calculated accurately for use in stress analysis.
